My 2023

The last time I didn’t write a monthly summary for months was 4 months, this time it’s not only almost 5 months but it even spans a year… How about just a yearly summary!

STCF MDC FEE

My colleague is expected to graduate in the summer of 2024, so this part of my work will probably end by then, and I’m not sure what else I’ll need to do after he graduates. Recently, I finished drawing the schematic for the 16-channel prototype. Now I am working on the PCB design. I Will need to do testing on it after I go to school in February.

(This diagram was not updated in time. The PLL part should be placed between the FPGA and ADC to easily provide clock for both. )

WR

The basic requirements for the WR project have been met, but there is still some FPGA code for the timecode section that has not been written. This is a project that needs to be done by April of this year.

Triggering

Before the winter vacation, several teachers came to my school and had an in-depth discussion with us about this project, mainly clarifying the requirements and basic design of the triggering system. This project, as my graduation project, should become the main work in 2024.

Looking back at 2023!

The biggest change and progress in this year is that I have become more familiar with my labmates, and some of them have become my good friends. We can not only discuss problems in study and work, but also keep each other company and play together in life. This is my fortune.

This year I have my own project. I’m looking forward to completing a project from start to finish.

Planning for 2024

Taking the IELTS, doing my graduation project, finding out which schools I can go to if I go abroad, then refining my resume and contacting the professors.

(The most plentiful pictures ever. Satisfied.)
